The most commonly heard pricing for API-X42 ERW line pipe pricing in the US domestic market from Korea has held steady since our last report a week ago, at  $34-$35 cwt. ($750-$772/mt or $680-$700/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.

US domestic prices for US API X-42 ERW line pipe have also remained lateral, at $44-$46 cwt. ($970-$1014/mt or $880-$920/nt), ex-Midwest mill, but, as with last week, some SteelOrbis sources are reporting they hearing prices slightly above this range, depending on the size of the order.

Market activity for the current week is trending light; it’s believed this trend, and pricing, will remain stable until after the first of the year.
