Prices, order activity and inquiries within both the US domestic and import A-53 ERW BPE Grade A standard pipe markets have remained mostly lateral since our last report two weeks ago, although buyers who are looking to book significant tonnages can easily negotiate deals below the average transaction range.

US domestic spot pricing has held at approximately $42.50-$43.50 cwt. ($937-$959/mt or $850-$870/nt), ex-Midwest mill, while futures prices from Vietnamese and Turkish producers has also remained sideways at approximately $29.00-$30.00 cwt. ($639-$662/mt or $580-$600/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.  Other sources point out that while orders and activity have remained stable, that “things are slow across the board. Everyone is fighting for orders.”
