Buyers in the local Turkish welded pipe market are still limiting their purchases in line with needs due to the ongoing fluctuations of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Due to the weakness of demand, Turkish welded pipe producers have maintained their prices unchanged over the past week. However, market sources state that new price increases may be observed in the local Turkish welded pipe market in the coming period, against the backdrop of the ongoing rises seen in domestic prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) - the raw material for pipe production.

During the past week, Turkish producers' offers for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market have remained stable at $540-580/mt ex-works.

Meanwhile, purchases of Turkish producers' welded pipes in Europe have continued to be observed over the past week. In the given week, Turkish producers have maintained their welded pipe export prices unchanged at $540-570/mt FOB.
