The Czech seamless pipe market has been witnessing slack demand from foreign customers due to the holiday period in Europe. Over the past month, export prices of Czech seamless pipes have remained unchanged in euro terms on the back of stable raw material costs, but due to currency fluctuations prices in dollar terms have decreased by $20-21/mt. In the coming one-month period, prices may continue to follow a stable trend due to the usual summer lull. However, an expected demand rebound from key pipe-using sectors in Europe after the summer may help push up seamless pipe prices from Czech producers in the autumn.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €850-890/mt ($1,136-1,190/mt), while 3/4" seamless pipes are at €990-1,030/mt ($1,323-1,377/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €880-920/mt ($1,176-1,230/mt) FCA, while 1" seamless pipes are at €1,000-1,040/mt ($1,337-1,390/mt) FCA.
