Demand for welded pipes in the Turkish market has shown a slightly better performance over the past two weeks, and Turkish welded pipe producers have increased prices for their products. Domestic prices of welded pipes in Turkey have increased by around $10/mt over the past two weeks, while export offers have weakened by $5-20/mt over the same period. Welded pipe prices in Turkey may continue to move up in the coming period on the back of expected further improvements in the domestic market and better sentiment in the key export markets after the summer vacation season.

Most offers of Turkish ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 are being given to the domestic market at about $640-660/mt ex-works on actual weight basis.
