The US pipe markets are slow in recent weeks, with pricing, order activity and inquiries all holding at stable.  Ex-Midwest mill spot price ranges for A-53 ERW BPE Grade A standard pipe has held in the approximate range of $42.50-$43.50 cwt. ($937-$959/mt or $850-$870/nt), while import offer prices from Korean, Vietnamese and Turkish mills still fluttering in the approximate range of about $33.00-$34.00 cwt. ($728-$750/mt or $660-$680/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.   SteelOrbis sources say that order activity is sluggish enough that anyone who is looking to book a decent-sized order can easily negotiate a better price.
