The Czech seamless
pipe market has started to show signs of a recovery. Over the past month, export offers of Czech seamless pipes have increased by around €10-20/mt ($14-28/mt) on the back of rising raw material costs and the improved market outlook. A recovery is anticipated this year in the Czech seamless
pipe market owing to the increasing strength of the construction and automobile sectors in the country, as well as thanks to the returning export markets.
Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €870-900/mt ($1,209-1,251/mt), while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €990-1,040/mt ($1,376-1,446/mt) FCA.
Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €900-930/mt ($1,251-1,293/mt) FCA, while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,020-1,070/mt ($1,418-1,487/mt) FCA. Export offers of 3"-4" Sch 40 seamless pipes of grade B as per API 5L, PSL 2 are at about €930-960/mt ($1,293-1,334/mt) FCA.
