Polish welded pipe producers expect strong demand for their products and so their prices have remained stable. Their optimistic forecast is based on the various modernization and construction projects being carried out on gas networks in Poland and the European Union. However, there is some uncertainty over whether rising demand will be maintained in the coming quarters and whether the market will accept high prices in the long term. At the same time, traders in Poland think that demand from both domestic and overseas markets has begun to soften, and so some discounting could occur quite soon.
