The welded pipe market in Poland has remained quiet amid ongoing low demand from consuming industries. Domestic prices of Polish welded pipes have moved down by around €10/mt ($13/mt) over the past month in line with lower flat steel quotations. Meanwhile, Bulgarian and Italian welded pipe suppliers have left their offers unchanged over the period in question. While Polish buyers still show little interest in purchases, the warmer weather and the expected rise in raw material costs provide grounds for optimism for an improvement in the Polish welded pipe market.
