Local Turkish welded pipe prices soften

Over the past three weeks, declines in Turkish and global HRC prices have been reflected in pipe prices as well. In the local Turkish welded pipe market, demand has remained weak amid negative market sentiment, while prices have softened.
 
Turkish producers' offers for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market have decreased by $40/mt to $530-550/mt ex-works, compared to three weeks ago.
 
Turkish producers' export prices for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 have decreased by $40/mt over the same period to $530-540/mt FOB.
