The Iranian welded pipe market has been quiet over the past month due to Ramadan. However, Iranian mills have managed to hold their domestic quotations steady. In the coming period, Iranian welded pipe market may experience a declining trend due to limited demand and amid the uncertainties after the nuclear agreement.

Iranian producers' current domestic prices for 6"-10" welded pipes with 2 mm wall thickness of grade B made to ASTM/API are at IRR 24.0-25.5 million/mt ($812-862/mt) ex-works.

Local stockists' prices for welded pipes of 1"-3" size from Iranian producers are at about $820-860/mt ex-warehouse, compared to $740-770/mt ex-warehouse one month ago. Offers of 20 x 20 mm - 100 x 100 mm hollow sections ex-warehouse Tehran are on average at $565-575/mt ex-warehouse, $15/mt lower compared to one month ago.

Chinese welded pipes, 2"-8" grade B made to ASTM A53/API 5L, are currently being offered to the Iranian market at $480-500/mt CFR, $10-20/mt lower compared to one month ago.
