There is little, if anything to report with regard to the US domestic standard pipe market.  Sources close to SteelOrbis continue to report that US domestic spot prices have once again held sideways, with the most commonly reported range for A-53 ERW BPE Grade A standard pipe still trending at $42.50-$43.50 cwt. ($937-$959/mt or $850-$870/nt), ex-Midwest mill, while futures offers from Turkish and Vietnamese mills still trending at $33.00-$34.00 cwt. ($728-$750/mt or $660-$680/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.

“It’s turning out to be an uninteresting year,” according to another SteelOrbis source. “The market as a whole is pretty bland.”
