The Czech seamless pipe market is still very quiet with minimal buying activity in a seasonally weak period. Over the past month, export offers of Czech seamless pipes have remained mostly unchanged in euro terms amid slack business activity, but due to currency fluctuations prices in dollar terms have decreased by $14-16/mt. Meanwhile, market players expect Czech suppliers to raise their seamless pipe quotations in the coming month amid bullish sentiments in Europe and rising production costs.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €870-900/mt ($1,186-1,227/mt), while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €990-1,040/mt ($1,350-1,418/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €900-930/mt ($1,227-1,268/mt) FCA, while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,020-1,070/mt ($1,390-1,459/mt) FCA.
