Czech seamless pipe exporters have continued to see sluggish demand over the past month. Export prices of seamless pipes from Czech suppliers have declined by €10-20/mt ($13-26/mt) during the given period amid scarce demand and softer raw material prices. However, overseas demand has remained tepid as customers are still waiting for further decreases. Market players believe the market picture is unlikely to improve in the coming month, but according to reports Czech seamless pipe suppliers intend to keep their prices stable.
Current export prices for 2"-3" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €860-880/mt ($1,127-1,153/mt), while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €990-1,010/mt ($1,297-1,323/mt) FCA.
Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 with varnish coating from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €890-910/mt ($1,166-1,192/mt) FCA, while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,020-1,040/mt ($1,336-1,362/mt) FCA.
Export offers of 3"-10" seamless steel tubes of steel grade B made to API 5L, PSL2 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €920-940/mt ($1,205-1,231/mt) FCA, while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes of steel grade B as per API 5L, PSL1 are at €1,020-1,040/mt ($1,336-1,362/mt) FCA.
