The Czech seamless pipe market has been observing an upward trend caused by rising costs of scrap in the region. Over the past month, export quotations of Czech origin seamless pipes have moved up by €10-20/mt ($11-22/mt), though demand from foreign customers is not sufficiently strong yet. Market participants expect seamless pipe prices to remain stable in the coming period as the market outlook is still uncertain.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €840-870/mt ($907-940/mt), while 3/4" seamless pipes are at €980-1,010/mt ($1,058-1,091/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-4" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €870-900/mt ($937-972/mt) FCA, while 1" seamless pipes are at €990-1,020/mt ($1,069-1,102/mt) FCA.
