The Iranian welded pipe market has moved on a slight downtrend over the past month, with buyers staying out of the market except for urgent needs. Iranian mills have decreased their welded pipe prices by a minimum of $10/mt over the past month. Local stockists' prices have seen a downward correction of $20-25/mt over the period under review. Any improvement in welded pipe prices seems unlikely due to lack of consumption, while market participants are maintaining a wait-and-see stance.
