On June 20, SteelOrbis reported US domestic ferrosilicon prices at $1,810-1,876/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

According to sources, trading is presently subdued on seasonal slowness; a limited number of spot transactions have been heard at prices ranging from$1,763-$1,807/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. This range represents a decline of $47/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $69/mt from the top of the previous range. Prices are expected to firm up as fourth quarter negotiations approach on both demand and increased replacement costs in the import market.
