On July 12, SteelOrbis reported high-carbon ferromanganese traded at $1,456-1,496/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

According to sources, high-carbon ferromanganese has increased this week by $39/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $60/mt from the top of the previous range and is now trading at $1,495-1,555/mt in warehouse Pittsburgh on tight supply and adequate demand outside the contract cycle. A further uptick is expected prior to fourth quarter negotiations.
