Turkish mills have intensified their ex-US scrap bookings today, September 13. In Turkey, it is heard that about 10 scrap cargos have been booked, with the price of HMS I/II 80:20 standing at $373/mt CFR, $374/mt CFR and $375/mt CFR in these transactions.

On the other hand, no ex-Europe scrap transaction has been heard so far. Despite the decline in scrap prices, the strengthening of the euro against the US dollar has been posing difficulties for ex-Europe scrap suppliers.
