Scrap purchase by CSGT confirms upward trend

China Steel Global Trading, an affiliate to the Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corp. (CSC) has bought one cargo of 35'000 mts steel scrap from EMR at $185/mt CIF FO basis. The cargo composition will be all Bonus grade. Shipment is agreed to take place before September 2003. SteelOrbis understands that the end user for this cargo will be Tang Eng Stainless Steel.
