SteelOrbis has learned that several Russian steel mills, located in the European part of the country, have decreased their procurement scrap price by Ruble 200/mt ($8/mt) following the example set by Severstal two weeks ago.

However, the average scrap price has remained at its previous level of Ruble 5,900-7,800/mt ($227-300/mt), due to the strong demand for scrap in the Ural part of Russia.
