Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 100/mt over the past week to INR 21,300/mt ($333/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have remained unchanged over the same period at INR 23,750/mt ($371/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $340/mt CFR.
