Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 7

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 18,000/mt ($269/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 600/mt over the same period to INR 18,800/mt ($281/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved up by $15/mt week on week to $270/mt CFR.
