Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 41

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt ($3/mt) over the past week to INR 17,500/mt ($262/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 100/mt ($2/mt) over the same period to INR 18,700/mt ($280/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $15/mt week on week to $210/mt CFR.
