Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 100/mt over the past week to INR 21,200/mt ($330/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by NTD 200/mt over the same period to INR 23,550/mt ($367/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have declined by $20/mt week on week to $320/mt CFR.
