Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 3

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 600/mt over the past week to INR 19,100/mt ($281/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have risen by INR 100/mt over the same period to INR 18,900/mt ($278/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $5/mt week on week to $285/mt CFR.
