Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 25

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 500/mt over the past week to INR 20,800/mt ($323/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 800/mt over the same period to INR 20,200/mt ($313/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved sideways week on week at $285/mt CFR.
