Local Italian scrap market edges up slightly

After the slight decrease registered at the end of September and during the first week of October, scrap prices in the local Italian market have increased by a slight margin of €5/mt ($6/mt) during recent days. Market sources state that the reason for this rebound in prices is that the previous price levels were considered to be very low.
