According to the latest figures provided by German steel scrap recycler association (BDSV), in the first 20 days of February domestic steel scrap prices in Germany decreased by €14-23/mt ($18-30/mt) month on month, following three months of upward movement on month-on-month basis. However, the decrease in February was far less sharp than that observed in October last year.
