According to the latest figures provided by German steel scrap recycler association (BDSV), in December last year domestic steel scrap prices in Germany increased again, though at a slower month-on-month rate compared to November. In November, quotations had recorded increases in the range of €12-17/mt ($16-23/mt), while in December smaller increases of €1-6/mt ($1-8/mt) were observed.
