In August this year, local French steel scrap prices have continued to decrease, declining by €14/mt ($16/mt) on average compared to July, according to the latest data issued by the French Steel Federation (FFA).
On year-on-year basis, in August local French scrap prices decreased by a significant €61/mt ($69/mt) on average, as shown in the following table:
