Local and export scrap quotations in Japan

Local quotations in Japan's Kantō region for H2 grade scrap have decreased by approximately JPY 1,155/mt ($11/mt) compared to price levels recorded on June 10 and are now in the range of JPY 18,500-18,800/mt ($180-183/mt) delivered to customer.
 
On the other hand, SteelOrbis has been informed that no new Japanese offers to Vietnam for H2 grade scrap have been heard in the same period. Meanwhile, Japanese offers for H1 and H2 grade scrap to the export markets are in the range of $188-200/mt FOB.
 
Also, ex-Japan busheling grade scrap offers to India are currently at $260-265/mt CFR India.
