Local and export scrap quotations in Japan

Local quotations in Japan's Kantō region for H2 grade scrap have increased by approximately JPY 5,500/mt ($51/mt) compared to price levels recorded on March 30 and are now in the range of JPY 21,200-23,100/mt ($196-213/mt) delivered to customer.
 
Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has been informed that Japanese offers to Vietnam for H1 and H2 grade scrap have risen by around $12.5/mt over the same period to $265/mt CFR.
