SteelOrbis has been informed that Taiwanese steel producer China Steel Corporation (CSC) has made a price announcement for the purchase of 30,000-35,000 mts of ex-Europe bonus grade scrap at the level of $500/mt CFR; however, no contract has been concluded yet as the Chinese Lunar Year is about to begin. It is likely that the market will regain momentum in the post-holiday period.
