Kardemir lowers BPI prices
Turkish steel producer Kardemir reduced pig iron prices by $5/mt, according to the price list dated May 16, 2005. Accordingly, sales price for steel making basic pig iron in the Turkish market decreased to the level of $318/mt+VAT, while the price of H1 material declined to $340/mt+VAT.
