SiMn offers given by Indian traders for export have this week shown a softening. Accordingly, prices of materials composed of 65 percent Mn and 17 percent Si are standing in the range of $1,340-1,350/mt FOB, while prices of materials composed of 60 percent Mn and 14 percent Si are at $1,150-1,180/mt FOB. The prices are for October shipment. In the Indian domestic and export market SiMn demand is trending stable. Meanwhile, the trading activities have slowed down due to the approaching festival season in India.
