Import scrap offers in Taiwan

According to market sources, ex-US offers for containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap to Taiwan are currently at $272-275/mt CFR CY, for August shipment. It is also heard that Taiwanese buyers’ firm bids for containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap are at $264-266/mt CFR CY, while negotiations are continuing.

Meanwhile, market sources state that ex-Japan offers for containerized H2 grade scrap to Taiwan are now at $280-282/mt CFR CY.
