Import iron ore prices keep moving up in China

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that the price for Australian PB fines with 61.5 percent iron content for China is currently at $155/mt CFR, while the price for Australian Yandi fines with 58 percent iron content for the same destination is now standing at $144/mt CFR. The prices above indicated an increase of $7/mt over the past two weeks.
 
In the meantime, the price of Indian fines with 63-63.5 percent iron content for China is at $157/mt CFR, while the price of Brazilian Carajas fines with 66 percent iron content is standing at $161/mt CFR China, indicating an increase of $9/mt over the same period.
