Import iron ore prices in China increase sharply

Over the past week, iron ore prices in China have increased by $10/mt and are now at their highest levels since September 2014, since domestic steel producers have continued to replenish their iron ore stocks before production cuts and since four Chinese iron ore suppliers have announced production cuts for 2016.
