Ex-CIS pig iron offers to Italy remain stable

According to sources, ex-CIS basic pig iron offers for Italy have remained stable over the past week at $385-395/mt CFR for Ukrainian material and at $400/mt CFR for low-manganese pig iron of Russian origin.

Market sources also reported that the latest deal for ex-Ukraine pig iron in Italy was closed at slightly lower than $390/mt CFR, while demand for ex-CIS pig iron in Italy is at decent levels.
