Ex-Brazil pig iron import price offers to US widen

On August 14, SteelOrbis reported basic steelmaking pig iron offers from Southern Brazil to the US at $370-380/mt CFR US port. In Northern Brazil, with deals reported at approximately $372/mt CFR US on the same date, offers were reportedly at $375-380/mt CFR US port.

According to sources, ex-Brazil offers to the US are presently at $370-385/mt CFR US port. The range has widened $5/mt from the top of the previously reported range.
