SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to NTD 4,500-5,400/mt ($1381-166/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,000-38,000/mt ($983-1,167/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in early and middle November.
