SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 4,900-5,800/mt ($151-178/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have also remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,000-40,000/mt ($984-1,230/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in middle and late October.
