Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 30

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 600/mt ($19/mt) during the past week to NTD 5,300-6,200/mt ($170-199/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged week on week at NTD 36,000-40,000/mt ($1,153-1,281/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-September shipments.
