Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 29

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 400/mt ($13/mt) during the past week to NTD 5,900-6,800/mt ($190-219/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis. 
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 2,000-4,000/mt ($64-129/mt) week on week to NTD 36,000-40,000/mt ($1,160-1,289/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early September shipments.
