Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 9

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved up by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 7,700-8,600/mt ($250-280/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 35,000-40,000/mt ($1,138-1,301/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-March.
 
$1 = NTD 30.75
