Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 7

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 7,600-8,500/mt ($245-275/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt on the upper end over the past week to NTD 35,000-39,500/mt ($1,130-1,275/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early March shipments.
