SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 7,100-8,000/mt ($222-250/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,123-1,201/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and end of December shipments.
