Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 41

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 600/mt ($20/mt) since last week and are now quoted at NTD 9,100-10,000/mt ($299-329/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000-5,000/mt ($33-164/mt) over the same period, to NTD 44,000-52,000/mt ($1,447-1,711/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and end of October shipments.
