SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 8,300-8,600/mt ($275-285/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 500/mt on the lower end over the past week to NTD 33,500-36,500/mt ($1,111-1,211/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid/late September shipments.
